I occasionally use lang-8 to do some writing in Thai. Native speaker corrections usually come in within a few
hours to a day and are of good quality (from what I can tell). However, I am still unsure as to how to use
these corrections best. In the past, I have rewritten my original text, based on the feedback given. But many
people on lang-8 don't do this and I have stopped doing it, too, partly out of laziness and partly in order to
avoid getting enthusiastic comments on my Thai on already corrected texts. So, currently, I just read the
corrections, say thank you, and move on with my day. This might not be the most efficient use of them.

What do you do with native speaker corrections of written material, be it on lang-8 or somewhere else? Any
suggestions?

I would make a list of your mistakes then write a new text trying to incorporate as many of the corrections as possible to make sure you understand them.

You may want to add them to an SRS :=)

Thanks for the answers so far. I hope some more will be coming in later...

SRS... well, because I correct texts on lang-8 as well, I know that it is often not possible to make something
sound natural without completely rewriting it. As a consequence, corrections are often only a step towards
natural language use. Therefore I wouldn't really want to SRS corrected lang-8 writings if I used SRS (I do
not). I'd rather have a tutor sitting next to me providing me with ten additional examples for every correction
received, but that doesn't seem practical.

You could always come up with ten new examples on your own. That would serve to reinforce correct usage - certainly much more so than just rewriting a corrected version of something you've already written.

That's why I didn't say "add the sentences to SRS" :) You can either add smaller chunks or state that you don't mind it if some sentences are rewritten completely.
Also, google is a fantastic source for examples! Just search with quotation marks.

Do you read a lot? For some reason reading is really helpful for just learning to feel what sounds natural and what doesn't. Sprachgefühl :-)

edit: i obviously meant reading is helpful. was thinking of how it helps the writing too :)

I make the corrections to my local copy of the piece but I leave the lang-8 copy alone. Most importantly, I take the time to be sure I understand the corrections.

If you're going to reread what you wrote on lang-8, best make the corrections :)
