Hey all,
In about 6 months I am going to be graduating college and starting to work. Since I'll be studying other things a lot less, I'm thinking of beginning Arabic, and I've been looking into Arab Academy. It is $70 a month, and it includes 2 Skype calls a week, a 2 week stay at their physical school in Cairo, as well as all of the materials you need for either MSA or ECA. It seems like a great resource, but the only reviews I've found online look a lot like sponsored reviews, so I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with Arab Academy? Thanks for any help. Interestingly they quote both the DLI and one of the local Universities (Manchester) as 'clients'. I'll try to check that out next week.
Personally I'd spend the first $70 on other materials (or use freebies) to see whether you and Arabic are going to get on. I've amassed loads of free Arabic materials and I'm converting many to on-line resources as I have the time. 3 persons have voted this message useful | |

That's good advice. I definitely should make sure I like the language enough before I invest seriously in it. Thank you very much.
