My Russian has deteriorated badly. My listening doesn't seem to be badly affected as I can still understand alot I hear but my reading is terrible. Last week in work my manager was sent a document in Russian by mistake and he asked me to read it to see if it was the correct paperwork. I really struggled with it and large sections I just went blank on. It was almost like the first time I learnt to read the language.
The other big deterioration I've noticed is with Latin. I struggled to read it in Michel de Montaigne's Complete Essays and on the OU forums this week. 1 person has voted this message useful |
