José Mourinho is a famous Portuguese football coach. I think it's called football manager in England. He is working for Chelsea FC at the moment. Does anyone happen to know which languages he actually speaks?

I know he speaks Portuguese, English, and Catalan. I would guess at Spanish and possibly more.

And it's also likely that he speaks at least some French, as almost all people here learned French at school as first or second foreign language.

Btw, never forget that Portuguese J is like the French and Romanian one, not like the Spanish :P

Yes its true that he also speaks French, a player he recently signed was said to be delighted that Jose spoke to him in the players native french

As an amusing contrast, the coach of the Japanese national soccer team is
from Brazil and only speaks Portuguese. As he runs up and down the
sidelines yelling at his players, an interpreter follows him yelling in Japanese.

I think this was the same when Guus Hiddink was South Korean coach.
