Today I read chapter 8 in Aronson. Now I'm working on the exercises (English-Georgian,
although I doubt I'm gonna do all of them like that, it would take forever!). The part
about reported speech was very interesting! I already knew about that a little bit, but
there were things I didn't know about it.

What exactly do you want to say here?
This means: "But, because of writing this story, I want to learn Georgian and don't even want to listen to music."

I meant that writing this "story" (Sorry, I don't really know a better word for it in
Georgian, or in English!) gave me motivation to study Georgian instead of listening to
music.

:)

Today I thought I had to finish the last half of the exercises in chapter 7, so I did,
but then I realized it was chapter 8 I needed to finish! So I did both of them. Oh well,
it never hurts to get extra practice! I did them Georgian-English. I can understand most
of them that way. It's English-Georgian I have trouble with! So I will start practicing a
lot more. Tomorrow I will read and listen to the texts from those chapters, since I
skipped them, and also do chapter nine. I want to finish this book, and then do it again,
since there is so much that I haven't really fully absorbed.

I just read the first two dialogues in the Continuing Course, and I understood them for
the most part! The things I didn't understand were usually things with footnotes, which
is convenient. :D

I did have to look up a few words, though, but not as many as I thought.

I like how these dialogues seem a bit more natural than most. I can see myself learning a
lot from these. :)

I just read the third dialogue, too. I think it was a little harder than the first two,
but I still understood most of it!

I just read the 4th dialogue. It was harder than the last three. I had to look a lot
more things up, and it took me a while to figure out what they were talking about at the
beginning. But I managed to figure it all out eventually. There were a lot of things I
could figure out from context.

Luckily, I found Expugnator's posts on UniLang where he asked about this dialogue. That
was helpful because I couldn't figure out what

By the way, I just realized I'm counting the dialogues wrong. When I say the fourth, I
mean დ. But apparently that's still part of the introductory one, and the next one will
be the first? I think that's how it works. :)
