I'm really confused. I signed up for Verbling (for French) but I can't find the 'Get Partners' button anywhere to start
one of those 'chat roulette' conversations I heard about. I'm probably being really stupid. Does anybody know what
I'm doing wrong / where I can start talking to people?
Thanks!

Verbling has done away with that feature.
Here's what they had to say about it:
Verbling’s one-on-one, random, student-to-student chat practice, Verbling Connect,
will no longer be available as a standalone feature on Verbling. Instead, one-on-one
practice sessions between Verbling students will be possible through Verbling Groups.
To create or join a group, click here. What originally prompted the change was
increasing feedback from users indicating greater success in achieving high-quality
audio and video with Verbling Groups, which is based on Google Hangouts, than with
Verbling Connect, which was not.
They're no longer offering French, Italian or Russian classes either. They say they are
now focusing their classes on English and Spanish.
