I am interested in the Assimil Spanish with Ease: Day by Day Method. I have used Assimil for French and was very happy with it. In reading reviews of the Spanish set ( it includes the CD's and book as did the French ), a few people complained that the accompanying book had very tiny print. Is this true? The book that came with the French was more than easy for me to read. Can anyone help me on this? Is the Spanish text in very small font?

I have Spanish with ease from 1987. The Spanish font is OK although smaller than the one used in more recent editions, but the English translation is so small that my eyes get tired very quickly. Edited by Hungringo on 11 February 2014 at 11:12am 1 person has voted this message useful | |

I also have the 1987 edition printed in France in 2002. I almost never need reading glasses. The font appears slightly smaller than other Assimil books I have, but it is crisp. The font is smaller than a full sized book. (I would only use reading glasses for extremely tiny print like a twenty digit serial number squeezed in with a bar code on a strip about 4mm wide and 2cm long.
