Since I'm going to Iceland in more or less 40 days, I decided to start the decrypting of
this beautiful language. I opened a specific log for this (40 days Icelandic challenge,
listed on my profile).
I will "water" only the vocabulary learnt since now in German, Dutch and Norwegian to
make it more solid and keep time to study Icelandic. Meanwhile, I will end reading "De
Alchemist". Since now it has been quite painful because even if I can understand the
general meaning and some sentences in detail, I'm still slow in reading. But it is an
outstanding exercize to improve the written comprehension.

Some days ago happened that I read some article from a technical magasine (about
photography). It was much easier than books and newspapers and I managed to understand
almost everything! Was awesome.

I'm back!
After my vacation in Iceland, during which I spent time reflecting about my language studies, I decided to close a
couple of projects.
One is the Icelandic one. I will not come back in Iceland for a few years and therefore for the moment is really low
priority.
The other one is to learn the Germanic languages as a group.
I will rather focus on just two Germanic languages:
- English, from street English to professional English (so correct pronunciation and perfect grammar).
- Dutch, from advanced beginner to upper intermediate.

When reached these goals I will come back with German and a Scandinavian one (no sure which one for the
moment).

Another remark, I will not update this log at this point.

Good luck with your goals. I am finding learning one language enough - so I am impressed that you are able to do two!
