	I know this question sounds rather naïve, but I am in need of assistance. I enjoy languages and learning their origins, and I was thinking of studying philology at the university level combined with another degree if needed. What are firm-standing careers in philology that will stay steady or rise in demand in the future? Are these jobs located in America, or mostly Europe? Can you divide philology degrees into subcategories based on geography ie. Germanaic languages, Austronesian languages, etc? From historians to teaching, what are some of the best jobs for someone looking to seek out a degree in philology? 	This might be a good question for Dr Arguelles in his room. I'm curious to know, too. My brother is currently finishing his bachelor's in History and Classics and is considering the same career. As far as he's found, everything promising still lies within academia. 1 person has voted this message useful
