Does anybody know if this is true, I found in wikipedia":

"Michel Thomas (February 3, 1914–January 8, 2005) a renowned linguist and language teacher, was a figure of legendary WWII courage who lived one of the most colorful and adventurous lives of his era."

from february 3 1914- January 8 2005, is it true? Where can I find more about this, if it's really true.
I visited his web page www.michelthomas.com, and there isn't nothing there about this.

Well, the original thread that you already know about did have a post that read:

Not sure if it was a coincidence, but Michel Thomas died the same day that this thread began.

along with a link to a now defunct LA Times article.

Here is the Washington Post on his death.

Andy.

I am curious to know why the main website for Michel's courses doesn't list his death. Bad publicity?

Yeah, I read about it in the news but after visiting his website the same day - to see what his employees, friends, family, etc might have to say - found it a little strange as to why it wasn't updated with the news.

Yes. What's also curious is that the site doesn't seem to mention the "Advanced" courses either.
