Not bad at all, considering you've only being studying a month from scratch! You are very
communicative and your pronunciation is clear.

By the way, when you say "und, er" it sounds a bit like "unter" which might lead to some
confusion.

Excellent pronunciation and word order. I also liked the way you didn't grind to a halt when things got a little
difficult. You reached out mentally and something came to you. That is a sign of real progress because it
signifies independent usage.

Very good effort! You speak very well and clearly.

Just two remarks: You can't use "reden" when you want to say you speak a language. You have to use "sprechen" instead.

Also, you invented a word. If you want to translate "cases" into German, you can either say "Fälle" (sg. "Fall") or "Kasus" with a long u (sg. "Kasus" with a short u). "Kasen" doesn't exist.

Keep up the good work!

Ah! That explains it then. I must say I didn't quite believe you when you said that you
were listening to audiobooks after 1month, because I was thinking: "it took me at least
up until 400 hours until I was able to loosely follow audio without text!"

I like how specific you are on the hours. I also count the hours and its interesting to
watch the video again to think about how I might have matched up to you when I hit that
number.

Do you find counting the hours a motivating practice? Did you count the hours for
learning English, so that you can compare? This video by Deka Glossai by interest you -
it's influenced how I think about my language ambitions: http://www.youtube.com/watch?

I have never written down the hours after learning
, only at the end of this near 2 years process i wanted to know more or less how much it took me to get
there . It has been possible because i have been very consistent especially over the past year , studying on
average 1 hour a day , as for the firstyear i wasnt so consistent and learnt much less , so i have come to
the 45o hours , a realistic evaluation in my opinion . Generally i dont count how much i learn , i dont find it
particularly motivating especially if i then look at he fsi table . As for English ,i have no idea of how many
hours i have put into it . I learnt a bit of it at school , most of it by myself , but the process has been diluted
in 5 or 6 years of really relaxed study , i have spoken much more English thus i speak it way better. I had
already watched that video :-), i like deka like any other language enthusiast ,anyway i support more the
steve kaufman s philosofy .
