After having completed a biginner serie ,which resources are available to get a solid B2 /C1 in dutch , i am
particularly interested in things to read and listen to , the ideal would be a website where it is possible to download podcasts with audio and text like deutschewelle for German or lingq , are you aware of such websites for dutch ? LingQ has a lot of podcasts within the website. I use it often for most of the languages

Try Uitzendinggemist.nl. It's Dutch TV programming. Incredibly comprehensive, and a lot of the programs have

I'd also recommend KRO, which is another Dutch site with a collection of shows
which you watch online. De Wandeling is excellent and Liefs Uit is also good. In regards to podcasts, if you type Expat on Air and Hemelsbreed in to itunes, you be able to download their podcasts. The first is surprisingly enough about Dutch expats in foreign lands and their experiences and so forth abroad, so some nice cultural observations and insights to be had there. And the second is a Dutch podcast about Buddhism, which despite not being a Buddhist myself, I quite enjoy. It's relaxing, easy to listen to and really they simply talk about peoples ideas about life and ways of living, intermingled with stories, readings and the occasional wacky interviewee or report about an event taking place. It's charming. As far as reading goes, I find all my stuff online, given that I'm in Australia and finding books and things is virtually impossible. I'd recommend going to Waarbenjij.nu which is a travel blog site and reading some of the entries there, great way to find real current use of the language by 20 to 30 year olds. Or if you're into music check out 3voor12, full of interviews and reviews and whatnot. Veel succes! 3 persons have voted this message useful |
