The JES is a New Year's Party that lasts 7 days. It's one of the largest Esperanto events
for young people (63% of the participants are under 30 and a further 24% are 30-39 years
old). Last year, it attracted 259 young people from 34 countries.
If you have to choose just one Esperanto event to go to, I can honestly recommend this
one!
And now there's a scholarship specifically for learners who have never been to a large
Esperanto event before: "JES al novuloj". Read about it at
