So it happens that two websites I visit for my daily portion of news (theguardian.com and bbc.com) run articles today about the dying out of languages. I hope some of you find them interesting.
It's surprising that both those sites chose that topic to put on the main site (they weren't hidden anywhere for only the language ethusiasts to find them) and on the same day!

Pretty cool that Windows 8 is available in Cherokee!

Took them long enough. Ubuntu supports Cherokee, Cherokee keyboard and fonts as well as 46 fully translated languages and a total of 218 supported languages. (Although that was about a couple of versions ago, might be more now)
