Are you sure about this? 'Donne me le' sounds very odd to me.

In the French of France, the popular language says: donne-MOI-le.

Other popular usages:

Donne-moi-z-en! Occupe-toi-z-en!

In this case, the theoretically correct forms sound rather formal in everyday speech.
Donne-m'en! Occupe-t'en!
