There is a theory that every language evolved from a so-called "Proto-World" language, that was spoken 100.000 years ago.
On this website: http://members.aol.com/yahyam/protoworld.html there are some reconstructed words of this language, although these words are even more vague guesses, than the reconstructed words of Proto-Indo-European for example, it is an interesting fact that some of these words are quite similar to modern Hungarian words, which mean the same thing as these words.
Here are some examples:
English Proto-World Hungarian
Mother Aya &nb sp; Anya
Dust Bur   ; ; ; Por &n bsp;(Old Hungarian: Pur)
Arm Kano Kar
Dog Kuan Kutya
Who? Kun? &nbs p; Ki?
to stay Mana &nbs p; Maradni
What? Min? &nb sp; Mi?
Vulva Puti &nb sp; Punci (euphemistic word in Hungarian)
Quite interesting, isn't it?
(PS. Sorry about those "nb sp" things in the chart, I can't edit them out)
