French is green, Chinese is red (of course), Dutch is orange (of course), and Spanish is also orange. Russian is pure white like a fresh Siberian snowfall.

If asked I find that colours are associated with languages, but I can explain why I do so.
Japanese: Red, as the colour of the Sun as in Japanese national flag,
English: Green, I do not know why, but I associate green with the notion of the world, and English is a world language ...
Mandarin: Yellow, for the colour of the Forbidden city, the Yellow river Huanghe 黄河,
a Chinese mythical deity Yellow emperor Huangdi 黄帝,
unforgetable desert like huge Chinese landscapes cover with a vague yellow ...
Russian: Red, for communism?
French; White, Paris is a white city
German: Green, for German forests,
Arabic: Yellow, the colour of deserts,
I associate colours with musical keys, this is more strange to me.
A: Red, my mind is filled with red when listening to Mendelssohn's Italia symphony.
B: Black, groomy
C: Yellow, gorgeous colour...
D: Blue, demonish
E, White, E# sounds more brightly
F, none, or gray? sounds as if something off, strange feeling,
G, green, I do not know why...

nescafe, your first list sound like tangible associations but the second sounds like music-colour synaesthesia to me. Have you ever taken the synaesthesia battery? Here is a link: http://www.synesthete.org/

The interesting thing here is how much agreement there is between and among posters.
English is red, and French has always been blue for me. Spanish is orange. Italian is olive green. German is a deep apricot colour. Portuguese is bright green. Russian and the other Slavic languages are a dark orange. Korean is a deep pink.

Chinese is mostly red, black, white, with some blue. It's not a very pretty language to see.
Spanish has a lot of blues "ah" sounds. iera sounds are a beautiful purplish violet flowing from white.
Tagalog is the most beautiful to see. Tons of vivid colors, blues, purples, strong blacks.
I don't normally see English when I speak, so I don't really have a good idea on the color of it.
I have sound -> letter/color
music -> color
and emotion - > color synesthesia

Interesting, I find my system of colouring of numbers is fairly rainbow-like: 1 = white, 2 = red, 3 = orange, 4 = green, 5 = yellow, 6 = sky blue, 7 = pink-purple, 8 = dark blue, 9 = dark brown, 0 = transparent (water-like). As with languages, maybe because I haven't learned a lot of languages, I don't have a system yet. Perhaps the colouring system can help solve the problem of confusion regarding false friends and all that.

Wow, that is an interesting topic. I think most people (ie. without synesthesia) would associate languages with the colors that appear on the flag or are especially important in the culture.
If I were to say what color I associate with Arabic, it'd be green, since it's on 90% of Arabic-speaking countries' flags and it's the color of the UAE flag. For example, for China the color would be either red (the color of the flag) or imperial yellow.
