Produced in several editions, first with 2,000 and later 3,000 words, before and during
the German invasion of the USSR. These dictionaries are apparently still widely
available
in second-hand bookshops in Germany and Austria.
If the link is opened, the pages of the dictionary can be read about two-thirds of the
way down by clicking on them.
I should add that "sprachfuehrer", the Russian speaker who runs the highly interesting
blog from which I took this link, mentions copyright, and the right of the author to be
