Would this be pronounced the same as wźąć (if such a word existed)?
I hope you don't mind me checking something simple like this. :)

PS I think I am asking this because I know the phonology guides say that ź=zi, and if that turns out to be true within real words, then I will trust the guides more and not feel the need to ask any more simple questions like this.

Well, it depends, it can be [wźąć] or [wźonć], generally it is said that ą shouldn't be strongly emphasized.
