Arekkusu's description of his awesome self-talk exercise (for improving one's
pronunciation and fluency) now has a permanent spot on my blog, along with translations
into 5 languages: http://temp.learnlangs.com/methods/self-talk

Read it if you haven't heard of the exercise yet; re-read it in your target language if
you have and need a reminder.

What a shame we don't have a way to update the forum to include heading of "Best of HTLAL". It would certainly include Arekkusu's self-talk exercise, Ari's Chinese Pod method, and many other useful posts. Instead we depend upon those long term members who can remember these posts when they can be useful to a new member.

That's an excellent suggestion...

For what it's worth, I'm happy to host more of HTLAL's best on my blog, including links
to the member's projects, charity of choice or whatever.

Does this forum have the ability to "sticky" threads? If so, a moderator could sticky a thread and update it as needs
be.

We could open a new thread for people to make suggestions; the number of votes would be a good indication of what members consider worthwhile...
