Eric, I have the German edition: 'Niederländisch ohne Mühe', printed in 1989, the last printed page number
is 422, 132 lessons, ISBN 2-7005-0039-3.
Those words above are just some miscellaneous examples I found while flipping through the pages.
Those 'Questions on Orthography' ('Fragen zur Rechtschreibung') start on page 408 in my copy. The
grammatical appendix ('Grammatikalischer Anhang') starts on page 406.
I'm somewhat sorry to hear that the Dutch might sound like Tarvos grandmother, it's such a great little
book otherwise.

Tarvos is young. For many of us, the same Dutch is probably that of our parents' generation, which to me is close enough.

Thanks, BlaBla. Tihs is very strange, though. I searched on amazon.de for it, and it
brought me to this:

heute/dp/2700500393/">Dutch Without Toil

This book is from 2005! But it definitely matches the ISBN.

Okay, I can't seem to link it correctly. But if you go to amazon.de and search the ISBN
2-7005-0039-3, it takes you to a book from 2005.

The one on Amazon.de is the German base edition I have of Dutch Without Toil - it has
one different lesson to the English base. Its the last year before Niederländisch ohne
Mühe heute (Dutch With Ease).

The ISBN is that of the old course, but the title and description are those of the new one. They got it mixed up.

But since the new course got not published before 2006, and the ISBN is nonambiguous, most of the offers on the page should be correctly referring to the old course. Technically, it is the entry for the old course.

Interesting. I found a copy from 1986 I wish to purchase. Sadly, German Amazon doesn't
want to deliver it to me in the US. What a bummer.

If it's a private seller, you can contact him/her and ask if he/she will change the settings and ship internationally. I did this once when I wanted to order a book from a US seller via amazon.com that was originally blocked for European buyers and succeeded.

But there are also other sources where you can order books from Germany (some sellers at least will sell globally). Try:

abebooks.de (or com)
booklooker.de - private platform for selling used books
zvab.com - joint database of second-hand booksellers
ebay.de (or com)
