I think I'm more or less the same person in every language I speak. But maybe you can't trust your own gut feelings about this.
Of course it is harder to be subtle in a language whose idiomatics you haven't quite mastered yet, so my writings in for instance Russian or Greek may be more straightforward and simple than those I write in for instance German or French or English. And my rudimentary spoken Scots is definitely less highbrow than my English because I learnt much of its 'sound' by watching standup in 'soft' Scots (read: Billy Connally & co.), whereas I get most of my English from documentaries by people like David Attenborough on TV. But that's just the surface, and I can't see why my gesturing or mindset should change.
If I watched my own old Youtube videos again (horrible thought!) I would definitely also see exactly the same face staring at me irrespective of the language used.
