I once found a website that had Arabic news articles written in the script with the option of viewing them transcribed, literally translated, or as an English translation side by side in parallel text fashion. There was also an audio recording of the article.
I think I found it here at HTLAL, but when I've tried to find it again I haven't had any luck. Does this sound familiar to anyone?

The only site that comes to mind is Meedan. But it offers no transcriptions and no audio.

That's a useful site, especially since finding bilingual Arabic stuff seems to be a challenge, but I don't think that's it. I forgot to say that this site is something you have to pay for to get everything. Some of the articles are free, but the rest of them require a subscription I believe.

This is the website you mean, but it's temporarily down:
http://www.naturalarabic.com
Type "naturalarabic" in Google and use the cache version.

Another good site that isn't bilingual but has audio files for all the news stories with the written transcripts underneath is Euronews in Arabic. You can just read through the text and look up the words you don't understand. That and GLOSS are really helpful for me.
