Actually, I think there is one country that takes на in correct Russian: and that is Украина, although the Ukrainians don't like it.

@tarvos My book said that as well, but my wife told me that it's not used like that anymore nowadays. It was a normal thing when Ukraine was a part of CCCP, but now only some old people refer to it as HA.

На стадионе, в квартире are obvious examples. Стадион does not have inner space, it
cannot be used with в.
Играть на скрипке, в хоккей here играть have very different meaning.
That is like when to use in, on, at in English.
