And why didn't you write them рь, ль at the beginning? How could we understand you?

I can pronounce рь, ль fine. The problem is when they come before ю or я. In phonetic terms I cannot pronounce the cluster /rj/ or the cluster/lj/. This cluster does not exist in English or Hebrew! Therefore, the word люда comes out as лыюда. I have asked other English speakers to pronounce it and they do it the same as I do.

The thing is, those aren't really clusters, those are just palatalized consonants followed by vowels. In stressed syllables ря is pronounced /rʲa/ (phonetically [rʲæ]) and рю is pronounced /rʲu/ (phonetically [rʲʉ], if followed by another palatalized consonant), not /rja/ or /rju/. Same rules apply to ля and лю. Just practise pronouncing the palatalized consonants the way Марк instructed, and then try appending the vowels at the end.

ля, лю, ря, рю do not have any rj and lj clusters. J can appear only after soft R, L in
Russian anyway.
I have a suspection that Hebrew L can serve as Russian soft L although I'm not sure.
