Yes, Linguaphone Greek is quite nice, however I stopped using it in favour of other courses, as the audio is quite slow. I bought mine at the local library, I think it dates from the early 80s. I now use Communicate in Greek, Akou na Deis and I found a new course in London last week, Ellinika B. These courses are entirely in Greek, so probably not ideal for complete beginners. I may one day go back to using Linguaphone, but at the moment I have more than enough materials to keep me busy.

Just wanted to share my thoughts:
I have "Il nuovo Greco senza sforzo" and it's very good. The Language Transfer courses (there are 3) combined with the Assimil will most definitely give you a solid A2 level. Spoken World Greek looks awesome but I haven't done it.
I would caution Greek learners to not buy anything written before 1985 when "Katharevousa," an artificial standardization system for writing was abolished in favor of Dimotiki, the normal spoken and now written language.
