I did some grammar excercise Swedish adjective.
I have a problem with the following sentence

Hon är ... och ...
(lite ... nät)

The solution is: Hon är liten och nätt.

Why liten och nätt? I "match" the adjective to substantive, but where is the substantive in this sentence?

And the word "nät". My dictionary say it is a noun, but it should be an adjective?
What does it mean as a adjective?

If I’m not mistaken, (any native speaker willing to help?), I think there must be a typo in the exercise, not in the answer key.

nätt is an adjective and means “cute, pretty” whereas nät is a substantive meaning “net”.

And yes, the adjective has to agree with the noun (whether a substantive or – in this case – a pronoun).

The adjective “liten” is a little peculiar, as it has a totally different form in the plural: “små”.

Singular predicative and indefinite form
EN-words = liten
ETT-words = litet

Singular definitite form = lilla

Plural = små

Examples:

EN-words:
skjortan är liten.
en liten skjorta
den lilla skjortan

ETT-words:
skåpet är litet
ett litet skåp
det lilla skåpet

PLURAL:
skjortorna är små
två små skjortor
de små skåpen

Examples from Åke Viberg et al., Essentials of Swedish Grammar, (1984, 1991) p. 96.

nätt is an adjective meaning something like neat, tidy, slender, like a girl who's small and thin.

Thanks for help.

Emme your explanation about the typo makes sense. And nobody complain about...
