Studies: Biblical Hebrew

Greetings, everyone! I'm learning both Modern and Biblical Hebrew. Right now, I just want
to focus on Modern. I have already gotten some books: Hebrew for Dummies, Pimsleur ect.
to start out with. But I notice that as I delve deeper into learning the language, I
notice that I'm accumulating a lot more questions than I am answers! ...

I do want to get a Hebrew/English dictionary soon, but it seems all the dictionaries I
find are more intermediate and advanced, meaning that they don't have the English written
out on how to pronounce it. I've been having some general concerns with learning how to
conjugate vocabulary that the book and some of the material online isn't helping me with.
Is there a concrete, user-friendly book out there for beginners teaching about
conjugating Hebrew verbs/nouns? If so, do let me know! If not, then, I'm more than happy
with being pointed to somewhere online.

Welcome to HTLAL. As an intermediate student of Hebrew myself, I have a dictionary at
home that I can't remember the title of in detail, but I can look it up when I get home.

English and Hebrew pronunciation donĀ“t match at all. Just learn how to pronounce Hebrew,
it is really quite easy.

Routledge has a good grammar (look for Lewis and Glinert) that has both explanations and
exercises for all the grammatical concepts in Hebrew; verbs, shorashim, plurals, etc.
