I do not know anything about this language, but I have a question about learning it in the future. I heard that it has
been influenced (somewhat) by Russian, Arabic, and Persian. As each of these languages are on my hit list, would
learning Uzbek be simplified much, if any, if I learned those three languages first?

Just a quick thought.

It makes perfect sense. If I learn Arabic, Persian, and Russian first, will learning Uzbek be any easier because it has
been influenced by Arabic, Persian, and Russian.

Wow. Sorry for offending you. I'm glad you're an all-knowing god who can call a fourteen year old :) with plenty of
time to learn languages an idiot. By the way, Persian is not difficult for an English speaker to learn, either.

Thanks for the help buddy.

If you really want to get a leg-up on Uzbek, learn Turkish or Uigur. Knowing even Turkish will give you more of leg-up than having some background in any of Russian, Arabic or Farsi.

Thank you for your helpful answer, Chung. I am planning on learning Arabic, Persian, and Russian (which I'm
learning now) so I was just wandering if after those I could learn Uzbek for "fifty cents instead of a dollar," for lack
of a better metaphor.

I have no plans to learn the language, I would just like to in the future if I could do so easily.
