the word in Japanese 肯定的な is affirmative and positive. According to the example sentences of the dictionary, which are quite limited for this entry, this has the mean of affirmity and positive in the sense of yes, this is so, in the sense of confirming an affirmative answer responding to a question. However, can this adjective also be used as positive in the sense of good or optimistic, for example, a positive outlook on life or a positive attitude? Can this 肯定的な be used in this way too in Japanese or only as positivity in the sense of yes/no questions? I just want to become aware of the full scope of the word's meaning.
Thankyou
Luke
