I don't want to be a nag, but I have to wonder why this hasn't been put up on the website yet. I refer to it often, it's a great resource. :)

I agree with the previous poster. I am currently perusing material about slavonic languages ( merely out of interest, no "wanderlust here) and was quite baffled to see Polish left out from the language profiles. Then I found Chungs excellent description hiding in this place.
There are profiles on Czech and Yugoslav, I think it is time to put in the Polish one too. With more than 40 million speakers and its location in the heard of Europe the importance of Polish can't be overlooked.
I politely request that Francois put the profile finally where it belongs. This is just a matter of courtesy and respect towards Chung who did this great job one and a half years ago. Let it not be in vain.
C'mon Admin, please update the Polish profile.

I thank everyone again for the kind comments.
In a way, I'm a little relieved that Francois still hasn't posted the profile. Every now and then, I find out about new books and make minor corrections to the existing profile.

That's a great language profile, Chung.
And sorry for pointing out such things, but in total five Poles are Nobel Prize winners in literature. The ones left out are Władysław Reymont (1924), Czesław Miłosz(1980) and Wisława Szymborska (1996).

Thank you and fixed. (I already had Milosz, but didn't have Reymont and Szymborska.)

Apologies.
Sometimes I can't see things even when looking straightly at them.
And I don't know why I thought about five polish literature noblists when there are only four...
I'm such a silly person.
