"Hyvin Menee" is a very good program. I've been using it for almost two years now through a class at my local Finlandia Cultural Association. It's very well laid out, but it's all Finnish so it's best for use in a classroom setting.

Awesome post, I was wondering if you have had any experience with Linguaphone Finnish?
I'm not studying Finnish right now, but I have it here and it looks pretty decent.

I am inclined to agree as it seems to be thought of enough to be the main textbook on the syllabus of some courses in beginners' Finnish at a few universities if I remember correctly. However I also agree with your comment about it being meant for the classroom and I declined buying it while visiting a bookstore in Helsinki to find usable material for self-study.
