I tell my students that I'm a student of Latin along with them. I'm just further along: no more, no less.
As for single sequential: If I'm working on getting a language up to speed, yes. If I'm pretty well beyond
intermediate, no. In any case, only one serious piece of literature at a time. Not two—even if they are the same
language.
