As of now my Russian level is very basic. I have currently gone through the listed
items in 2 months of study. - Alphabet and basic phrases - Pimsleur through lesson twenty five of level one. ( I have stopped with Pimsleur and switched to Assimil. ) - Assimil 1951 through lesson fifteen. //////////////////////////////////////////// My goal over the next 107 days is.. -Complete Assimil I will first listen to the audio file several times until I can follow along with the words . Then copy them into a note book, after which I will follow along until I understand most of it. The last thing I will do is make flash cards using some of the sentences and also make some new sentences using the new words I learned with the help of a native. - Have a minimum of 270 hours of study ( by studying three hours a day six to seven days a week) - 50+ hours of Skype conversations. - Reach B1 level I think with enough work and some help from a Russian friend of mine I will be able to achieve this. I will keep studying after this, but a lot of my free time will be gone after the 107 day period. So I want to achieve as much as I can in this time first before setting a new goal. This looks like an extremely promising start, and welcome to the team! Why do you have to stop after 107 days?

Thank you. I wont have to stop studying, but I wont have the chance to study as much.

Welcome to Team Sputnik! Interesting post, and you've really covered some material there
