Hey Bakunin. I hope you have a great trip and get lots of opportunities to speak Polish.

Ok, back to more Szklarski....(!)

Right now I'm busy with the beginning of the school year, but before that I had been doing fairly well and had
been studying Polish on a regular basis. I hope to get back to my routine in a week or two! Until then I'm just
snatching random moments to study so that I don't lose contact with the language completely.

We're almost three-quarters of the way through 2013 - we can make it! Go Żubry! :)

I took a few days where I went on a quick vacation, so no Polish opportunities, but I'm still within the top 15 on the 6 week challenge (though I'm disappointed; I had been maintaining #11 for a few days and now I'm #14). I hope I can pick it up and get back soon! I just did an extra 45 minutes tonight and I actually didn't seem to forget anything.

Hi Polish gang, how you all doing? Made good headway so far this year? Thought I'd post this in here also as I'm
sure it will go to good use (if it isn't already). So I found an excellent website the other day, which maybe you guys
are already familiar with, but basically it has a whole heap of Polish and non-Polish classics po polsku which you can
download legally and free, and in a few different file types, including a bunch of formats for ereaders. And it looks
like you can download each book with the option of footnotes which explain key or difficult vocab also, amazing!

So you can find the website hear - Wolne Lektury.Pl

Hope you're all doing well and do zobaczenia!

Thanks Vos. I wasn't aware of this free resource, so bonus! Some of the classics look good; I'll probably just read snippets online with the help of Google Translate to improve my comprehension. I'm beginning to think I need an e-reader.
There's no shortage of reading material these days, but graded listening materials ideally with text are harder to find.

Some team members have been inactive for most of the year, but the hardcore members seem to be going about their business steadily. So far, I've had a great year in terms of the amount of time put into studying. Progress is noticeable (so it ought to be!), albeit slow and heavily biased towards input and vocabulary. Grammar is just ok, but a lot to cement. Output minimal, but I have strategies in place.

I'm now going to pluck a horn from my head and use it to issue a Żubr Team rally call.
How's everyone doing?
Please tell us you're alive and kicking.
