You really are courageous :-)

I'm looking forward to reading you here till December 2013.

Btw I am going to read La Cathedral del Mar soon too. I have got a Czech traduction for
Christmas so it will be like a bilingual text :-) Would you have any recommendations on
other Spanish books?

Hola Cavesa,
I am sure you will enjoy "La Catedral del Mar"
I can recommend the detective story "El Carnaval" by Francisco García Pavón which I am reading now, it's quite
easy reading. I am also in the middle of "The Shadow of the Wind"by Carlos Ruiz Zafón, it's interesting but not
easy to read, so I advance slowly.
Here is a list of my favorite Spanish books:
Julio Cortázar "62: A Model Kit (62/modelo para armar)"
Gabriel García Márquez "One Hundred Years of Solitude"
Javier Marías "Corazón tan blanco"
Laura Esquivel "Like Water for Chocolate"
Mario Vargas Llosa "Aunt Julia and the Scriptwriter"
José Carlos Somoza "Clara y la penumbra (The Art of Murder)"
Isabel Allende "The Stories of Eva Luna "
Zoé Valdés "Café Nostalgia"

Turkish.
As I decided, I'll translate jokes to different languages, or at least acquire some related vocabulary and grammar
skills (in case of Turkish, I am still not able to traduce whole joke).
So here are some vocabulary for the next joke:

film - film
wife - hanim
husband - koca
always - her zaman
smile - gülümsemek
when - iken

Spanish

He leido "El Carnaval". Al comienzo, una vieja criada es assassinada, el crimen parece sin razón, "el accidente" del
carnaval. Luego la ama de case muere de pneumonia, pero el medico sospecha que era asfixiada. El asasino es
bastante facil a divinar.

I've read "El Carnaval". In the beginning, an old housemaid is killed without a visible reason. Then mistress of the
house die from pneumonia, but the doctor suspect that she was smothered. The   murderer is quite easy to reveal.
