I used the 1993 version by Terttu Leney, I suppose there are also older ones out there.
This version seemed rather easy compared to other books I'd used. I took a very carefree approach, just reading through the book using the vocabulary boxes whenever I couldn't understand a word. Never tried to learn vocabulary though, just went with the flow. Read the grammar, did the exercise...nothing special. It wasn't my first contact with Finnish though, I had classes and went through Assimil before doing TY. 1 person has voted this message useful |
