Hello everyone!
I'd like to introduce myself. I'm from Germany, currently studying Chemistry at
University in my 3rd semester and I love languages, like i think almost everyone who is
registered here :D
I speak German and English and a bit French and I am currently learning Spanish.
At school I started with English and I was in a bilingual class, so we were taught
History, Politics and Geography in English, too.
I also started French at school, but I forgot a lot of it.
Because I had to do some additional couses at university and like languages I started
learning Spanish because I like the language and continuing with French didn't fit into
my timetable.
However, I have difficulties to think Spanish instead of french :D
I think my biggest problem with learning a language is that I am impatient and have so
many interests that I don't find the time to do all of them. And I often don't know
where to start and instead of doing something I do nothing and try to find out how and
where to start...
In my free time when I don't study Chemistry or languages, I like to read a lot (also
in the original language, mostly in English because I know it best ^^), do sports and
meet friends etc.
I'm glad I found this forum. I was searching the internet for resources and forums
about languages etc. I hope to make new friends and learn a lot.

Welcome to the forum, Komma! Being consistent and persistent is the best way to learn a language on your own. The new six week challenge may be just the thing you need to help build that habit.HTLAL November 6 week challenge.
Best of luck in your studies!
