Hello, for my first language, I want to listen to as much media from the country as possible. So far I have been
watching and listening to children's shows that I have already seen in English, such as Spongebob.
My question is, is there any other suggested radio shows/videos I should look at in Norwegian based on the fact that
I have been studying the language for a week?

Also, I'm not sure if this topic belongs here.

Welcome to the forum! There are a couple of threads on the forum with links to Norwegian audio/video (here and here, among others I'm sure), but I'm not sure how suitable they are for a beginner. I guess that depends how you plan to use them at such an early stage... So maybe have a look around, watch or listen to a bunch of different things, and then decide what you'd like to continue with.
There's also a separate subforum for Scandinavian/Nordic languages here, so feel free to ask questions there if you want :-) Good luck!
Liz

klartale.no podcasts. Easy language plus transcripts.
As a beginner, you should probably read the transcripts intensively first to get
anything out of it.

I particularly like http://tv.nrk.no/programmer/utland because they have (Norwegian) subtitles for most of the shows, which I find helps me follow the spoken Norwegian, even if they're not a 100% match.
