I deleted the previous thread, as I wanted to wait closer to the end of the year to see if
there were more postings of the upcoming comprehensives. Five comprehensives so far.
Japanese IV Jan.27/2015
Danish I Mar.24/2015
Italian V Apr.28/2015
Modern Standard Arabic III Unknown date?
European Portuguese I Unknown date?
Remember the dates can still change, like it did with Japanese IV, as it was suppose to be
released this December 2014 and as you can see it was pushed to Jan.27/2015.
An odd note, I don't normally look at the Pimsleur website, as they are behind in
announcements, for some reason on a whim I checked just yesterday.
They actually had the listed products for 2015, but no release dates. It stands to reason,
that the top languages will have a comprehensive V, due to demand. Eventually I can see a
German V, Chinese Mandarin V possibly Japanese V as well in the future.
If anyone has interest in more language comprehensives, then by all means send a request.
It can only help.

Well from my understanding, there is a German V in the works and a planned release for late
2015 or possibly early 2016. My guess the high demand for the top languages in my first post
are happening. If any one is planning on getting German V, then I recommend saving up and
preparing themselves for it.
Now more than ever, I see a Mandarin V and Japanese V being released eventually.
The other comprehensive coming out 2015 is Korean I (2nd edition).
Edit: The Italian 5 has been changed to May.19/2015

Italian 5 will be released on CDROM in May. The MP3 file was released on 28 April. I have it installed in my iPhone as I type this.

Update on the Pimsleur Comprehensives for 2015.
The release dates for the upcoming titles after Italian 5 are:
Modern Standard Arabic 3 is Sep.29/15
European Portuguese is Oct.27/15
German 5 is Nov.24/15
It seems German 5 might be for sale at the end of this year after all. I remind people
neither Amazon.com nor the official Pimsleur website had German 5 listed at all even a
month ago. The official Pimsleur website, still does not have German 5 listed. There might
be about six comprehensives released this year. Seven if you include the updated Korean 1.
That is more, than last year. Keep in mind the end of last year the Japanese 4 was
postponed for one or two months, it could happen similarly this year.

German 5 is finally out.
The accompanying pdf with the reading lessons is available for free at Audible, by the way.
