I’ve found an old thread about this site, but it seems it hasn’t been discussed on the forum for quite a long time. That’s why I think it’s time to mention it again, especially since they have added new subjects. Now you can train English, French, German, Italian, and Spanish vocabulary, English grammar, Art, Chemistry, Geography, and Math.
For each correct answer sponsors will donate rice to the World Food Programme.
The English vocabulary game is the richest part of the website and the general consensus is that it’s quite challenging even for native speakers. I’ve managed to reach level 52, but I generally hover at about level 45-48. What about you?
Enjoy the game!

Yes, it's a site I like too. The language section is quickly exhausted as, if you have a fairly elementary knowledge of the foreign languages, you easily "ace" it. I agree with you: the English section is a lot more challenging. I think you are doing really well - as I assume you speak Italian as your first language - to reach the high 40s. I consider myself a reasonably well-educated native English speaker and I struggle to get beyond the low 50s. However a caveat: some of the words are archaic or very specialized and you would likely encounter many English speakers who would not understand you if you started using some of the "low 50s" words. But it is a great find isn't it?

Yes, you are right, Old Chemist. I suppose I only manage to get to those levels because being a native speaker of Italian and reasonably well-educated I can guess many of the higher-level words thanks to their Latin and sometimes Greek roots.

I have trouble around the 40s level! It gets to all these legal and medical terms that I've never heard of. I feel a bit ashamed.
