I was wondering... The team thread has basically died for a while now. How many of us are
still around? I'm following the logs when I see someone updating but it'd be good to
actually talk a bit between us and who knows, if there's a few of us still interested in
doing the month challenges, maybe we could start again!
I've personally felt my motivation down a bit compared to the time we were doing
challenges all together, so I'd love it if we could start again!

Hello yuhakko and everyone else who is still around!
I find thatconstantly keeping one's motivation for the whole TAC year is quite difficult. But the important thing is that we're still here and still sticking with it despite fluctuations in motivation and time to spend on our languages.
I'm really sorry for letting the challenges fizzle out like that... If you're all up for it, we could start again for the last two months. Only problem is that I have no idea for a November challenge. Regarding December, I think it would be great to repeat the first challenge in some way to compare them and see the progress we all made.
Any ideas for November?
EDIT: I have updated the first page to include everyone who did a reading challenge in June/July.
Maybe we can do the "decide your own challenge" thing for November. Or should we even start right now with October? I don't know...

Hey hey,
just to say I'm still alive, but as I'm studying much more than I usually do, I have very little time to spend on the forum. Also, as I'm currently doing almost nothing with any of my 5 (Asian) languages listed, I wouldn't have much interesting to post around here. Still trying to find some time to write my September report, and read a bit... But I'm mostly entirely European at the moment (and probably for a while, to the natural exception of Mandarin and Classical Chinese).

I'm also still around, just finished NPCR 3 and am currently working my way through NPCR 4 and the HSK 5 word lists on Memrise :)

Hey everyone! I'm still here too. I haven't really worked on Korean much because of
schoolwork and stuff but I'm applying for the NSLI-Y program to try to get a scholarship
to go to Korea. I'm cool with whatever the challenge is too.

It's good to see that you're all still around and still doing language study!
I guess I'll post a challenge at the beginning of November then! It's great that you're still up for it.
vermillon, which European languages are you studying at the moment? I would say that Mandarin and Classical Chinese are plenty enough Asian languages to still be considered a hard-working member of our team ;)
Crush, you're already at level 5... Wow. Are you planning to take the test?
Kami, sounds exciting! I hope you get the scholarship and the opportunity to go to Korea. For how long would you be there?

I'm not planning on taking the test, i still feel really insecure using Mandarin for anything other than online chatting. I'm hoping to be comfortable reading in it soon :)
Any ideas for the November challenge?
