Great to have Julie as a teamleader!
Here's the link of my language log: Mae’s Log - TAC 2013 - Team Viking
BTW: I was wondering if we could have a logging system set up for our team, similar to
the one used for the 6WC and the Super challenge, so we can keep track of our work more
easily and have some sort of overview of our progress. Reading logs is of course not
prohibited! :-)

Merry Christmas to Team Viking.
I’ll be back online in a couple of days and then I hope to start my TAC log.

Dear Vikings,
as promised, I'm back and I'm better :)
I have updated the first post (names of team members, links to our logs) - please check if anything is missing.
@mae: my idea was to put only the 'team' languages in the first post, the same way as Brun Ugle did in the sign-up thread. But we could also copy team MIR's solution (if I recall correctly) and simply list all our (TAC) languages in the opening post. Listed or not, I'm definitely going to read the Dutch part of your log anyway, as at least some other team members, I suppose.
I also made a list of our team challenges (hopefully, the list will be much longer soon: no challenge should be too scary for us, fearless Vikings!). If you've got any challenge ideas: please share :).
What about a team description? Is there any fearless Viking volunteer who would be able to poetically describe our crew? And maybe you have some ideas for a team picture or a team motto that could be translated into all our Scandinavian languages?
Another important issue: as some 'second' teams are quite small and TAC 2013 starts very soon, Brun Ugle has asked me (as well as other teams in the analogical situation) whether we would like to see both Scandinavian teams merged. The second Scandinavian team consists of five members at the moment. According to Brun Ugle, "there doesn’t seem to be much of a rush at the end of the year. And since there is a lot of enthusiasm about getting started, I thought it would be best to set the final teams now".
So, what is the Viking opinion on this?

Finally something to report for Danish too... :) I got the rare opportunity to watch non-Danish football in it recently, and it sounded so clear to me that I first thought it was Swedish! LOL. I do think that's an improvement.

Improvement or confusion... ;) Danish, no matter how clearly spoken (by a Dane, that is), sounds like any kind of Swedish. But on the other hand, when some Swedes hear a muddy southern accent, they think it's Danish.

It's just that until recently, I understood Swedish better than Danish, due to exposure in Finland and the general 'clearness' (like Italian vs Portuguese). so I was like: hmm this sounds like Danish, but I understand too much, it's probably Swedish :D
