Last Friday, I was at an exchange meeting with Arabic (Tunisian) speakers and their reaction to my introducing myself in Arabic was "She can speak Arabic too!" loud enough for everyone around to hear!

I probably won't be working on Persian for the rest of the year, so I guess it makes sense to resign from the team. Korean is taking up all my language study time.
I wish you all success with your middle eastern languages! Maybe I'll be back next year. I hope I can dedicate more time with Persian then.

Coming out of the 6WC it was difficult getting back into my regular study routine, but
I'm almost there. I also found a very helpful language exchange partner, so I'm keeping
my fingers crossed we can continue to practice with each other after he passes his
English exam.
How are you doing? I don't trust the Google translations of your blog.

Cool! That sounds like a great opportunity.
I think she's talking about my Hebrew log.
I'm great. I need to work a little more Hebrew into my studying. So far it's mostly
consisted of all the things I normally do, plus writing on my log. I actually just
wrote a post about how I don't study Hebrew enough because I'm addicted to other
languages! By the way, thank you for reminding me that I need to translate things to
English. I totally forgot. I'll go translate as many things as I can, except that
really long one because it would take forever! :)

How's everyone doing with their Middle Eastern languages? Working hard or hardly working?
:)
I must admit I'm hardly working on Arabic right now. I realized that trying to make
progress in three languages at the same time is not enjoyable. So starting tomorrow I'm
gonna concentrate on getting Croatian to the next level (B1) with the 6WC and for Arabic
just review what I've learned (and sometimes forgotten) so far. After that I want to do
AAATT (all Arabic all the time) and hopefully become fluid in Arabic in 4-5 months. Yes,
I spend way too much time reading language blogs :P
Don't be shy, share your progress or lack thereof.

I'll share progress:
Not nearly enough! Seriously, I have been busier than I've ever been before with various
large life events and so I have not had time to devote to studying exclusively. I still
get listening time in as much as I can though and I'm noticing that I'm picking up more
phrases. Still, it's very slow-going and I will need to find a way to devote more time
to it again in order to really make progress. Soon enough though, I should be able to do
this (hopefully).
I still get the emails and still check everyone's logs. Some people seem to still be
diligent, which is good.
