I have initially wanted to post this post as a reply to the thread "Advanced courses" but I feel that there are many publishers mentioned here that are rarely or not mentioned anywhere in the forum, and they will be a source of discussion. Hence, I post the list of advanced Russian materials I have sourced and share it with you.
Although this post is on the list of advanced Russian materials, I have included some beginner materials because some of them lead the learners very well into the later advance part of the materials or introduced advanced concepts that are not found in commonly used materials (e.g. TYS, colloquial and etc.). The list is broken into 3 posts.

Publication Date: June 28, 2006 | ISBN-10: 0300109431 | ISBN-13: 978-0300109436 | Edition: Pap/DVD
Russian in Use: An Interactive Approach to Communicative Competence is a four-skill language textbook intended for advanced students of Russian. The book focuses on high-frequency, nonliterary topics of general interest: geography, education, politics, ecology, and Russians’ perceptions of America. Each chapter contains preparatory vocabulary and user-friendly grammatical exercises supported by examples from contemporary popular literature. The lessons then provide practice using external resources; authentic reading texts; authentic, unscripted listening exercises (on a multi-media CD ROM, included with the text); and independent writing and speaking activities. The book emphasizes independent language production. Students examine topics from diverse perspectives and then are encouraged to develop and defend their own opinions in clear, colloquial standard Russian.

Publication Date: May 10, 2013 | ISBN-10: 0757564046 | ISBN-13: 978-0757564048 | Edition: 6
Rather than "covering the grammar," this update of the 1996 edition accents functional proficiency in reading, speaking, and listening, and current Russian political vocabulary. Simes (advanced international studies, Johns Hopkins U.), a native of the former Soviet Union, and Robin (Slavic languages and literature, international affairs, George Washington U.) structure this modular textbook on the concept of concentric circles: circle one is for generalist and specialist students who have completed an introductory course; circle two lessons are geared to expanding usable language. Two audio cassettes offer excerpts of actual Russian media for comprehension exercises. This publication of the American Council of Teachers in Russian is a collaboration with Johns Hopkins U.
