I am going to be attempting to start an African language, likely Igbo, Yoruba, or Twi, and I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions as to where to start in terms of resources. Very vague posting, I know, but I am really hoping to have some good feedback because whenever I try to google stuff I get very superficial results.

Have you gone to amazon.com, for example, and taken a look at what's available? I know
that there are Colloquial, Teach Yourself, and Beginner (Hippocrene) courses available
for at least one of each or all of them. There's also FSI for Yoruba and Twi.
Not that amazon is the final say on course value, but at least all the courses have user
reviews. Check some of the reviews out.

When I was researching Hausa, I came across this site:

There is free Hausa familiarization course in DLI.
