When learning any language do watching movies in that language and listening to that language's music allow you to learn any better than some other ways?
I know Pimsleur talks about when learning a language, anticipation is very important, and mentions how when listening to music, the lyrics are already known and you can easily sing along because of anticipation.
Would knowing what the songs/movies mean (by using subtitles or translation)also allow people to store that information more easily and more permanently?
