If you're truly that serious about getting "Finnish for Foreigners", note that volume 1 consists of a textbook, workbook, book of speaking drills, and audio (between 6 and 10 CDs depending on how the reseller divides the audio) while volume 2 consists of a textbook, workbook and audio (3 CDs). Volume 3 is a graded reader. Ask any potential seller what exactly he/she is offering under the title "Finnish for Foreigners" by M-H Aaltio.
Unfortunately, it may be difficult to find in its complete form but with a bit of luck perhaps you can acquire the course piecemeal by looking through Bookfinder.com or Amazon Marketplace.
Because of the potentially high cost of the course, do give consideration to learning material for Finnish that's available legally online and free of charge. You may be pleasantly surprised at how far you can get on just the freebies.

Thank you very much. I have found a website which sells the complete first volume for a total of $225:
http://www.worldlanguage.com/Products/Finnish-for-Foreigners -Vol-1-Full-Length-Course-on-Audio-CDs-
500147.htm
Are you familiar with this website? Is it reliable?

I'm familiar with it but have never bought from that company. As with considering any course, check that it indeed is in stock. Someone seems to have got burned by worldlanguage.com, unfortunately.

All it says is that it'll ship in 3-5 business days implying that it's in stock.
This isn't ideal, but it could be worthwhile in the end.
- Finnish For Foreigners I (textbook) (at least $11.75)
- Finnish for Foreigners I (workbook) (at least $32.94) (older edition of the workbook is at least $7.81 when I checked)
- Finnish for Foreigners I (drillbook) (at least $7.01)
- Finnish for Foreigners I (CD for textbook) (at least $73.90)
- Finnish for Foreigners I (CD for exercises) (at least $73.90)
Not really pretty, but there it is. The books are used from Amazon Marketplace with minimum prices as of a few minutes ago. The CDs are sold by a Finnish bookstore called "Ruslania". Here is its listing for "Finnish for Foreigners" in which there are "a few pieces left" of the audio and a few of the books.

Unfortunately, I can't read Russian. I could probably use Google Chrome to translate it, albeit poorly. After adding
the links you have given me, Finnish for Foreigners will cost a total of $199.50, or $174.37 if I purchase the older
edition of the workbook. I may purchase the first volume eventually, but I would like to have a stronger
understanding of Swedish first, since that's the most influential Scandinavian language (that is, if you don't include
Dutch). Thank you for all your help. I really appreciate it.

I would like to mention that the exercise book for Finnish for Foreigners I contains the
exercise dialogue found on the audio in the back with the rest of the answers, so you can
still complete the audio exercises by reading the dialogue and then answering the
questions. I just thought you should know.
