Living Language Spoken World Swahili is really good. All of the audio dialogues and word lists from the course book are in the target language (first 3 CDs), then there are 3 others CDs in English and the target language explaining grammar and sentence structure, etc from the course book.

When you are ready for listening/reading in Swahili, you can find plenty of conversational Swahili mp3 audio with pdf transcripts and English translations for free here:
Deutsche Welle "Learning By Ear" Swhaili Radionovelas The radionovelas have about 10 episodes each running approxiimately 10-12 minutes or so. Each series is about an hour and 40 minutes long and there are over 30 series available for free download in Swahili. That's about 45 hours or so of content.
The English site is here: Deutsche Welle "Learning by Ear" English Other languages besides English and Swahili are Portuguese, French, Hausa and Amharic.
I have used the Portuguese radionovelas myself and can highly recommend them. Right now I am listening to and enjoying the new series about African immigrants surviving in Europe. You can make your own bilingual texts. The individual episodes are short. The dialog is conversational and natural for the most part. The series are about a lot of varied topics, ranging from cultural, business and technology, politics, society and culture. There's something for everyone. The translations seem to come from English.
I would start with Hekaya za Kiafrika kwa utamaduni wa amani the English version is here African fables for a culture of peace.
For other languages, scroll down to the bottom third of the page on the English version and click the language. Download now before they disappear someday.
