There's also "Hammer's German Grammar and Usage", and the workbook "Practising German Grammar" both by Durrell. We used all three when I was at uni - Hammer and the workbook at the beginning and then the Essential German Grammar after coming back from an exchange year. The Essential German Grammar seemed easier, but that may in part have been because I was in Durrell's class that year and he was a fantastic teacher (think he's retired now).
I haven't used the Routledge German books, but the ones I've used are very good.
